Return-to-Work: New Hampshire
New Hampshire is favorable for our Permanently-Restricted RTW Program and our Transitional RTW Program.
New Hampshire has specific requirements for permanently-restricted claims, including:
- The claimant must be at MMI
- Our counselor must meet with the claimant and prepare a Rehab Plan
- Rehab Plan must be submitted to the DOL for review
- Rehab Plan must be signed by all parties before
RTW program begins - Our counselor must meet with claimant regularly
- Monthly reporting for the DOL required
- Jobs must be close to AWW
- Mailings must be via certified mail, to claimants/attorneys/physicians
A brief outline of our RTW process for permanently-restricted New Hampshire work comp claims is below:
- Confirmation of referral within 2 hours
- Workfinders contacts attorney/claimant to schedule initial meeting/Rehab Plan
- Rehab Plan created, submitted to all parties for signature
- RTW program begins
- All job leads sent to claimant and attorney simultaneously
- Monthly reporting by Workfinders
A brief outline of our RTW process for transitional New Hampshire work comp claims is below:

- Workfinders contacts local charities/non-profits
- Transitional placement scheduled, all parties notified
- Follow up on placement same-day
- Weekly timecard retrieval and reporting
